The Litelink AX-1001 consists of a fiber optic transmitter and a fiber optic receiver in the same housing, providing bi-directional high quality line level audio transmissions. Applications include public address systems, intercoms and general-purpose audio point-to-point distribution systems.


Both multimode and single-mode versions are available and installation requires just a single one-minute adjustment. In addition, integral indicators are provided on both units to continuously indicate the presence of audio signals as well as operating power making system troubleshooting simple.
 

For applications that are not bidirectional ( unidirectional ) see the AT/AR-1001.  For distribution systems the AM-1004 is a transmitter with one audio input and four optical outputs.
